Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank’s work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.
Start date: April 2023 or upon agreement
Duration: 3-5 months
Academic requirements: Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences
Your field of responsibility
You will be able to gain practical experience in Credit Suisse’s Large Cap Swiss Investment Banking team, engaged in the origination and execution of major M&A and equity and debt capital markets transactions focused on publicly listed Swiss companies. From day one of your internship, you will be involved in preparing pitches in the context of potential mandates for multinational companies across a broad range of industries, analyzing financial statements and assisting in building financial models, conducting comparable analyses of companies and transactions for valuation purposes, and developing company profiles and industry analyses for client presentations.

- Fluency in English and ideally German (further languages are considered an asset)
- Excellent academic track record at a top-tier university and proficiency in MS Office
- Previous experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or related sectors is an advantage
