Your role

Do you enjoy building and maintaining relationships? Are your skills in analysis second to none? Are you interested in supporting various Global Clearing & Execution (GC&E) teams specialized in listed derivatives like:

Sales & Solution

• Supporting Sales initiatives and running various projects independently, with focus on internal process optimization
• Preparing Sales presentations and marketing material
• Assisting in pricing of clients and maintaining the commission schedules
• Answering client queries via phone and email
• Maintaining the sales pipeline and sales reporting
• Aiding in and organization of client events

Business Management Support

• Analysing clients and costs
• Preparing presentations for the management team
• Engaging in EMEA wide Business Management projects
• Documenting and updating business processes
• Supporting audit and regulatory related tasks

Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It is also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most experienced Sales and Business Management people in the Derivatives industry. From the start, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in all day-to-day operations. You will not only get to know the business from top to bottom, but will experience our unique workplace culture firsthand.

Requirements

You have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet finished your master’s degree. In particular you can offer :

• Excellent written and oral skills in German and English (French and/or Italian being a plus)
• An independent, goal-oriented, stress resistant and assertive personality
• Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills even when under pressure
• Teamworker with good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• Able to and prioritize and work-off a portfolio of several tasks

Start Date: May 2017
Duration: 6 months

Your Team

You will be working in the GC&E organisation which provides clearing and execution services in Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) and OTC clearing to professional counterparties. GC&E is part of Global Financing Services.
