Your role

Are you keen on working at the heart of a global HR organization? Do you like to challenge the status quo? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Support the Process Owner team in various global and regional change initiatives
  • Bring up and implement ideas to continuously improve our process flows
  • Take ownership in process related sub projects
  • Maintain and streamline our Operations toolkit (Process guides, templates, factsheets, etc.)
  • Closely collaborate with our Offshore teams in Krakow

Internship
A 6 months internship is the ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most successful people in finance. From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day tasks. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience the unique workplace culture of UBS.

Your Team
You’ll be working in the HR Process Owner & Operations Control team in Zurich. We are responsible for the alignment and improvement of HR processes within the CH/EMEA region of HR Service Delivery. In close collaboration with our Operations teams offshore as well as various stakeholders within and outside of HR, we manage our portfolio which covers all operational processes alongside the HR value chain.

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a structured work style, confident working autonomously
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
  • excellent German and English skills (written and oral)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
