Your role
Are you motivated in driving the business forward? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? You’ll:
- support our GED EMEA Sales with mid-year performance reviews, budgeting and revenue processes
- support Business Mgmt Equity Derivatives with focus on Global MIS Reporting (Revenues, Budgets and Analysis) and Suitability and Appropriateness control processes
- gain direct exposure to senior distribution management. Support Head of GED EMEA Sales with analyses, presentations and ad hoc investigations
- continue to develop the suitability framework regarding third party distribution (on-going implementation of Product Development Guidelines, MiFID compliance). Refine stress-testing approach of structured retail products and design appropriate controls around the selling process
- support SARC / DC client on-boarding process, annual review, work of SARC / DC gatekeeper
- develop campaign management framework in UBS NEO and create analyses on latest joint product campaigns
Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance. From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.
Requirements
You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:
- excellent English (written and oral), German is a plus
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- pro-activeness and curiosity - eager to learn and approach new tasks
- very good Excel knowledge
- Advanced knowledge in creation of presentations and presentation documents
- Feels comfortable in approaching tasks in a systematic way, strong logical thought and reasoning abilities
- an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
- a strong interest in financial markets and products
Start Date: July 2017
Duration: 6 months
Your Team
You’ll be a member of the Global COO Equity Derivatives organisation and work closely with Trading, Sales in locations across the world (main focus on EMEA) and be helping us to ensure that we provide the right mix of business support and control to our Business partners. You will be in contact with colleagues located in London, New York, Hongkong and other APAC locations on a frequent basis.
