Your role

Are you rigorous in putting every application/software to test before users work with them? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Collaborate with technical application owners and engineering to adhere to our testing framework.
  • Support the integration of our next generation desktop platform images into our day to day operation.
  • Integrate new tools into our test environment.
  • Create Quality Control test cases for core server testing.

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 24months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business. As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective. Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Wintel Core Platform Testing team in Technology Service. We are responsible for the Test co-ordination and provide technical support throughout testing phase. We build the infrastructure for testing on clients and servers to test the core platform products and technical applications in line with UBS guidelines.

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need to have a degree in IT or in a related field. In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • an ability to learn fast when it comes to new IT products
  • good German and English skills (written and oral)
  • solid knowledge of Windows Client & Server environment, MS Office Products, Testing, Project Management
