Your role

Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have the know-how for analyzing financial information? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:

  • Support the standard risk reporting processes of Wealth Management covering the respective Lombard loan portfolio
  • Generate data and risk analysis for Risk Officers, front office and functional senior management, other authorized data users, auditors and regulators
  • Support change-the-bank activities in the responsibility of the team
  • Handling ad-hoc reporting requirements (special purpose reporting)

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Risk Analysis and Reporting WM team within Group Risk in Zurich. We have responsibility for credit risk- analysis and reporting on divisional level for Wealth Management in Switzerland, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia/Pacific. The unit is split into distinct areas of expertise which work closely together to ensure that a holistic approach towards risk control is applied across the various risk portfolios in the Business Divisions.

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need to have at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • a strong interest in financial markets (knowledge of risk modelling a plus)
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, reliable, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
  • a good command of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
