Your role

Do you have a knack for technology? Are you at your best when supporting others? We’re looking for someone like that who supports our Capability Lead and Lead Engineers in Data Protection to:

  • clean up and maintain the Hardware Inventory
  • gather information from different sources (DB’s and people)
  • analyze data, find gaps, define next steps
  • initiate process improvements
  • maintain a knowledge database
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Handover inventory for self-maintaining to Lead Engineers

Internship
A 6-month internship is the ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from colleagues with a lot of experience in delivering language services in the finance industry. From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the activity, taking part in the day-to-day tasks. You’ll not only learn about Software Localization from top to bottom, you’ll also experience the unique workplace culture of UBS.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Security Process Optimization team in Data Protection and Application Security. We are a global organization and we help to protect UBS in all kind of security aspects. We deliver services in the areas of:

  • Identity and Access Management
  • Data Protection and Application Security
  • Cyber Security Services

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need have finished at least 4 semester at a University or a University of Applied Sciences preferably in IT Economy, Business Administration or in a related field. In particular, you have:

  • fluent German and English skills
  • cooperativeness and team-orientation, while able to complete tasks independently with a high quality standard
  • a natural ability to manage data, information and oversee complex issues
  • good communication skills with colleagues at all levels in the organization
  • good IT knowledge, Process skills, MS Office

Duration: 6 months
Start date: as soon as possible
