Your role

Are you curious about the impact advances in technology have on employees? Do you want to be involved in preparing those employees for the associated changes so that they can fully embrace new technology, change the scope of their job and deliver an overall better service to their clients? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • help develop education materials to support our (bank) clients in training their employees
  • support our consultation efforts to our clients on the topics of education and engagement
  • potentially also help our business development team in the management of our client relationships and sales efforts
  • potentially support the development of our Workbench, an online tool for a bank’s relationship managers that supports them in managing their clients

Our three to six month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you will need to launch your career. It is also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance. From the start of the program, you will be right at the heart of the group, taking part in the day-to-day business. You will not only learn about regulatory change from top to bottom, you will also experience our unique workplace culture.

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a focus on topics such as: Change Management, Communications, Education, Psychology, etc.) and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • a strong interest in financial markets (knowledge of advising end-clients a plus)
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint. Good knowledge of Excel and Word

But we would like to also see evidence that you are:

  • an open, flexible and extroverted person
  • fluent in English

Your Team

You’ll be working in the UBS Partner digital investment team in Zurich, Switzerland, which is building a new value proposition that will shape the way our clients - i.e. other banks - deliver investment advice to their end-clients. Getting the new offering to market is one of the highest priorities of the UBS Asset Management division as well as the UBS Group. A big part of that is demonstrating to our clients how we will support them in making the rollout of our offering a success. Our team is diverse, international and highly motivated.
