Your role

Are you passionate about change? Do you want to make a difference in an organization? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Assess current conditions from 5 different angles (Voice of the Customer, Process Efficiency, Metrics & Results, Mindsets & Behaviors and Organization & Skills)
  • Solve problems, optimize processes and introduce new ways of working with a focus on Continuous Improvement
  • Deliver PEX initiatives, which include optimization projects and Target Operating Model design
  • Implement solutions and ensure sustainable change
  • Work on opportunity assessments to identify suitable processes for automation
  • Collaborate with Digital PEX engagement leads and solution design specialists in identifying automation solutions
  • Coach client teams on tools and methods and help line managers with the consistent implementation of the UBS PEX Way

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Process Excellence (PEX) team in Zurich. The Process Excellence (PEX) team acts as a center of competence for process (re-) design and optimization work across UBS, with tools to deliver continuous front-to-back efficiency and to lead lean transformations. The team consists of experienced change professionals operating globally from multiple UBS locations. The PEX team will also act as a talent incubator (identification/recruitment, development and retention) for UBS
Joining the PEX team will give you the unique opportunity to work on bank changing projects across different Business Divisions, regions and functions of UBS. It will also give you a holistic view of the key areas and functions of UBS, thereby building a unique set of professional know-how, experience, skills and network.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with a focus on business administration, banking and finance, economics or similar.
In particular, you have:

  • A problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations
  • An interest in working harmoniously as part of a project team in a fast-paced international environment
  • Analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • Fluent English skills (oral and written)
