Internal Audit Trainee

Corporate Audit is starting a new program to support talent development by attracting high potential individuals to join the Audit team for a unique Traineeship. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right individual with the following characteristics / profile:

Excellent educational achievements
• University degree in either risk management, accounting, finance, actuarial, operations management, statistics, data analytics, or information technology
• Ideally 1 – 2 years’ working experience in one of the above areas
• High capacity to learn and intellectual curiosity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build a strong internal network through audit engagements and informal communications
• Highly motivated with an ability to work in an international, cross functional environment
• Strong team player with an ability to sustain high level of work output and meet tight deadlines
Independent thinking and creative problem solving skills
Proficiency in English; other European languages are a plus
• EU or Swiss nationality (permit reasons)
• and last but not least, drive and ability to grow within PartnerRe

To be an ideal candidate you have a strong interest in the reinsurance industry as well as Internal Audit.

You will work along-side experienced members of the Corporate Audit Group to gain first-hand experience as to how each aspect of the Company’s operations works while completing internal audit assignments. You will receive structured audit training and will have exposure to many aspects of PartnerRe’s operations. Subject to high performance you will be able to join a sponsoring business / service unit after the Traineeship is completed.
The duration of tenure within internal audit is planned to be 18 months.
