Your role

Are you interested in Media Relations? Are you an innovative thinker? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • help manage and coordinate global communication activities (external and internal)
  • help develop communication platforms for media relations activities
  • handle a small portfolio of projects such as proactive positioning of certain topics, building storybooks and conducting story searching within the bank
  • help handle media queries and align with internal stakeholders
  • help position UBS Wealth Management on Social Media (LinkedIn)
  • develop and research content for news articles and intranet pages, including direct editing and writing (mainly in English)
  • provide guidance about UBS’s language and tone of voice guidelines

Your team

The Corporate Communications team for Wealth Management and EMEA is part of Group Communications & Branding. We are responsible for communicating with both external (e.g. media) and internal (employees) stakeholders globally about a wide range of strategic, tactical and issue-related topics. Our role covers a broad range of activities, from high level planning through to the creation and delivery of content and communications materials in a variety of formats, consulting senior management and crisis communication to media.

Your experience and skills

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.
In particular, you have:

  • advanced studies in journalism, communications, history or any other humanities/ arts discipline
  • excellent English with German being an advantage (written and oral)
  • strong interest in corporate communications and all aspects of media relations and internal communications
  • strong writing and editorial skills and a critical eye for identifying what makes content readable and engaging for different audiences
  • experienced in MS Office, especially Power Point
  • team player, able to work flexibly and collaboratively on a wide range of tasks
  • well organized with an autonomous and structured way of working
  • open and flexible personality, able to work in a global environment
  • ability to deal with sensitive information

  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
