Your role

Are you interested in kick-starting your career in a global environment? Do you want to experience how technology enables UBS to be the number one Wealth Manager?
We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • support the transition of different project delivery methodologies
  • conduct requirements analysis and change conceptualization
  • support project execution, planning and tracking
  • transfer the business requirements to technology responsible for the software development

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You will be part of the Client Servicing Capabilities team in WMPC Technology Development, working across multiple Business and Technology areas. Our core business is to develop and maintain the technology solutions which help the Wealth Management business to operate. We excel at project execution. For you, working in our technology function means challenge, innovation, variety and a chance to work with the latest developments in IT as they happen. The role is Zürich based.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in an IT related field. In
particular, you have:

  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a structured work style, confident working autonomously
  • a strong interest in technology
  • fluent in English and German (written and oral)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
