What you do:

• Structural Analysis - Classical static stress analysis & finite element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure in both a development and certification oriented environment
• Preparation of formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports
• Cross functional analytical support, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison/support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities
• Potential for additional activities associated directly with CS 23 compliance demonstration
• Potential for leading, supervising and checking the work of others

What you bring:

• University Degree in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 to 10 years postgraduate experience in stress analysis in the aerospace sector
• Depth of experience in deploying methods/analysis on composite structures is required
• Experience of deploying classical hand calculation methodologies and utilising industry standard reference sources is required
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP or similar Finite Element packages is required
• Knowledge of CS 23 and experience of leading and checking the work of others would be advantageous
• Good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German is advantageous
