Your role

Do you want to know how Human Resources activities support UBS’s vision to be the choice of clients worldwide? Are you interested in seeing what strategies we use to identify and select the most talented individuals for our bank? You’ll also have the chance to see how we support our clients’ continued success and how we help to foster UBS’s collaborative, respectful and performance-oriented culture.

Your main activities are as follows:

  • Support the Asset Management Recruiting team in day-to-day recruiting activities
  • Work on research projects with the Recruiting team to help identify qualified and experienced potential candidates and helping to create PowerPoint reports of selected profiles from competitor organizations
  • Support with research mandates across regions with a particular focus on social media research using platforms such as LinkedIn and Xing
  • Recruiting administration/organization for the HR team
  • Co-ordination with various HR specialist functions and Shared Service Functions
  • Participate in current and new HR Projects

Your team

You will support the Divisional Recruiting Asset Management Team which is located in Zurich. This team is made up of individuals who come from executive search (headhunting) backgrounds and use innovative research techniques to identify the best qualified “passive” candidates rather than rely on “active candidates” who readily apply to job boards.

Your experience and skills

  • Minimum of 4 semester at a University or University of applied sciences completed
  • Pleasure in dealing with people - team player with strong communication / interpersonal skills
  • Organized and methodical with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented can-do attitude
  • Inquisitive and eager to learn with good attention to detail
  • An interest in Investments or the Financial Services sector more broadly
  • Language skills in English and German
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
