Your role

Are you a multitasker and do you know how to juggle multiple tasks and projects while effectively prioritizing? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? We’re looking for someone like that who can:

  • support Group Investigations management in a wide variety of administrative, logistical and organizational matters to ensure a smooth day to day business operation
  • contribute to project deliverables and support project planning, budgeting, reporting, milestones management
  • support risk management, monitoring and reporting activities, including tracking risk remediation in collaboration with risk issue owners
  • co-ordinate across team members and locations
  • develop high-quality presentations to convey key information tailored to the audience

Your team

You’ll be working in the Business Management team in Group Investigations based in Zurich in close collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside the function. The Business Management team is responsible for supporting the Global Head of Group Investigations in coordinating and driving activities related to the strategic, operational, financial and people development of the function. Group Investigations is a group-wide competence center for investigations, defining the framework for investigations across UBS, conducting key investigations, and delivering comprehensive reporting to the governance bodies.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • good judgment when dealing with sensitive information
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
  • a structured work style, confident working autonomously

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

Start date: as soon as possible, August 2018
