Your role

Do you have a knack for analyzing business processes and system functionality? Do you feel thrilled to make data story telling? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • support in determine operational IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
  • participate and later conduct requirements-gathering activities like end user interviews and system analysis
  • support our business partners by describing their goals, business requirements and user stories
  • assist in quality control and project management
  • identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Access Management Team in Zürich. We design, engineer, deploy and maintain the global access ordering and access provisioning systems in UBS. We help in authorization and access rights management questions and provide these as a standardized service to the bank. Our role is to participate in all phases of the development lifecycle to enable business to formulate their needs in a structured way, so that development is able to design and implement innovative applications.
We are part of a global organization responsible for IT security system covering a variety of topics like cybersecurity, cryptography, new data technologies and platforms. Our global food print leads us from Switzerland to US, APAC (incl. India), Australia Poland and UK.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in computer science, business informatics or in a science related field (e.g. Physics, Mathematics etc.).
In particular, you have:

  • an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in documenting systems or requirements to systems
  • business domain knowledge in the financial industry (Securities, Payments, Risk) is an advantage
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • excellent English skills, German would be a plus (oral & written)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
