Financial Analyst in Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) for GFF (Group Functions Finance) 80-100%

As a team member within Group Functions Finance, you are excited about working in a diverse environment. You will be involved in performing financial analysis for the non-insurance part of business and in providing insights to senior management that will facilitate their sign off and / or decision making. As a Financial Analyst in FAR for GFF your main responsibilities will involve:

• Providing own analysis (or reviewing the analysis provided by shared services) of the business drivers behind balance sheets and income statements of RUs within the scope of GFF
• Planning and forecasting of central IT and services costs
• Reporting, reconciliation and analysis of the variances for the commitments and contingencies within the scope of GFF (monitoring and validating the work performed by RFC)
• Preparing and analyzing the quarterly SNB reporting for RU 910910
• Performing SOX controlling tasks for the HQ cost centers, ensuring that proper documentation is maintained for testing purposes
• Reviewing the KPIs of the CBU activities to ensure high quality standards are maintained
• Analyzing and resolving Intercompany differences
• Develop relationships with the Group’s shared service providers

Your Skills and Experience

As a Financial Analyst in FAR for GFF your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance or similar
• Around 5 years of professional experience in a financial controlling/accounting role
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting principles (knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset)
• Fully or partially completed professional qualifications (ACCA,CIMA, CFA) and Postgraduate studies will be highly regarded
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Willing to take ownership, hardworking, persistent, able to work under pressure, team oriented personality
• Global thinking to understand the dependencies within a multinational company
• Fluent spoken and written English, German skills are considered an asset
