Intern Consumer Psychology Analyst

You should have the following skills/experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Economics or related area
  • Ability to quickly connect social and consumer research to business problems;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to gain insights;
  • Good understanding of data, ability to manipulate raw data and derive insights from data analysis;
  • Ability to explain complex research in easy language;
  • Self-starter with ability to quickly ramp up on new tools and technologies;
  • Previous knowledge/experience in consumer or market research a plus;
  • Social Media platform analytics and knowledge of text analysis a plus;
  • Experience with statistical tools and Tableau;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

You will join and work in close collaboration with our audience management and targeting team in Philip Morris International. This team will be acting as the cohesive force that underpins PMI digital department’s consumer-centric, data-driven strategy. You’ll be working together with a mix of talents in data, analytics, science, technology, marketing and media.

As an intern, we count on you to achieve these following tasks:

  • Participate from end to end in audience research projects;
  • Write short reports on consumer psychology research and how it can help answer business questions;
  • Apply consumer psychology knowledge to improve the current online and offline marketing strategy;
  • Design questionnaires and conduct interviews;
  • Conduct literature reviews;
  • Use consumer psychology research to inform and shape data science projects;
  • Independently come up with hypotheses, analyze data, and present data insights;
  • Visualize data insights and present these by means of a dashboard.
