ASAP - Dynamic (junior) GL Accountant for intl. entities (m/f)
Your Role
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and related support for month-end-close
- Monthly Cash reconciliations
- Track of capital expenditure including depreciation
- Reconciliation of GL accounts
- Support VAT and tax filings
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and request from 3rd party providers
- Answer to requests from auditors for quarterly reviews
- Assist the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- Intercompany and transfer pricing reconcilliations and settlements
- Help to improve current processes
Requirements
- International environment with offices in the center of Zürich

Steadily growing EU operations, small and familiar team
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (or similar)
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate or public accounting, minimum 2 years experience in GL accounting
- Experience with GL bookings, accruals, reconciliations, etc.
- Swiss GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS knowledge would be a plus
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
- Good Excel skills (Pivot tables and Vlookup)
- Ability to work independently and organized
- Motivated and positive attitude

Our client, a globally orientated provider for business solutions within the information technology sector. For their steadily growing European operations we are currently seeking for a (Junior) GL Accountant for their office in the center of Zurich.

In this interesting position you will collaborate closely with the Senior Accounting Manager in order to take care of the GL accounting for several European entities. Your tasks will include general ledger journal entries, intercompany and account reconciliations as well as the preparation of the annual financial statements.
