Your role

  • Preparation of client meetings
  • Support of marketing & sales initiatives including portfolio pricings
  • Representation of our product in direct dialogue with client advisors
  • Perform data-based reviews of our client book via extended analyses in our client MIS (e.g., business volumes, profitability, etc.)
  • Support of the daily business of the assets gathering team
  • Continuous improvement of internal processes

Your team

You will be working in the Securities Lending & Financing team in Opfikon. You will become part of a multicultural team that is in contact with all major international investment banks. You will get a thorough understanding of what collateral trading and financing is and learn how bonds / equities are traded in the lending and borrowing markets. Your future team is responsible for the relationship management of existing pool clients as well as the sales activity to onboard new clients into our asset pool. We deal with a broad client base including asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, but also UBS client advisors and their high-net and ultra-high-net clients.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • At least 4 semesters completed at a University or a University of Applied Sciences, preferably in business administration, hard sciences, engineering or law
  • know-how gained from prior work experience in the financial services industry
  • Mature and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent English (written and oral), German as an asset
  • Proficient in MSOffice (Excel and Power Point)
  • Knowledge of MS Access is an additional advantage

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
