Structural Engineer - Customer Engineering Support

What you do:

• Provide professional solutions to the full range of engineering issues, specialising in Structural Engineering
• Point of contact for structural engineering support for Pilatus Military Aircraft Customers
• Processing of customer structural engineering queries, structural analysis via classic static stress analysis and numerical simulation
• Aircraft damage inspection, performance of stress analysis and preparation of structural repairs.
• Publications maintenance

What you bring:

• University Degree or equivalent in stress analysis within the aircraft industry
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of aircraft structural engineering
• Familiarity with MSC NASTRAN, FEMAP or similar packages is required
• Customer liaison experience and experience in dealing with military customers is advantageous
• Good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German advantageous
• Flexibility for travelling internatonally
• Able to work with minimal supervision and on several tasks simoultaneously
• Team player with good communicational skills, problem solving oriented
