This internship in Roche’s Informatics organisation in Kaiseraugst offers you the unique opportunity to learn more about employee engagement activities and on how to put them into practice. Your contributions will focus on engagement activities for our Informatics employees in Group Functions Informatics on site as well globally. You will work closely together with functional IT Leaders and the IT Communications & Employee engagement team.

During the internship you will:

  • Support employee engagement initiatives for IT specialists in the department as well as for specific functional teams to increase engagement and collaboration with other functions and business partners
  • Help to identify needs, challenges and improvement areas within IT teams; help creating engagement strategy as well as tactical implementation
  • Develop and create related communication and other materials (eg. videos, interviews,..) for internal audiences, as well as, social get-together events
  • Share and publish communication through respective channels and coordinate closely with internal communications team

You are an enrolled student in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Journalism, Public relations or related degree area. You bring experiences in the area of employee engagement, event management and/or communications.

What do you need in your toolbox:

  • You are a quick learner and able to work independently with little guidance
  • Highly collaborative and have an enthusiastic and open-minded attitude

  • You are able to think structured and organize you work, also when multitask along different teams and communities

  • Fluent oral and written English skills and experiences in visual communication
  • Proven experiences in engagement and/or event management
  • Advanced knowledge in Google’s suite of applications (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Google+, Hangouts)
