Traineeship in Regulatory Intelligence (2 years)
This trainee programme will give you an insight into the regulatory intelligence role at Roche and will provide a valuable professional experience. This will give you an opportunity to explore how Regulatory Intelligence can be a key asset to the regulatory strategy, by providing recommendations based on regulatory information and knowledge. As part of the 2-year traineeship, a rotational assignment is planned in another regulatory function (up to 6 months).
During the traineeship you will support the Regulatory Intelligence Managers in their key responsibilities and gradually assume responsibility for agreed individual tasks, under supervision of mentor/activity lead responsible. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage the EU regulatory intelligence information
- Monitor the external EU environment (e.g. create news and alerts, present EU regulatory updates to the regulatory community)
- Maintain internal regulatory intelligence tools
- Coordinate the internal commenting process for EU draft regulatory/clinical guidelines
- Contribute to EU Regulatory Intelligence assessments based on requests from the product teams
- Acquire an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each functions within the Regulatory Department
We are looking for a highly motivated, extraordinary and hardworking employee with a degree in life or pharmaceutical sciences, ideally with focus in regulatory affairs. Previous experience of working in a pharmaceutical company would be a plus (but is limited to a max. of 18 months of regulatory or clinical experience).

- Ability to drive activities, work under pressure and delivering on time
- Fluency in English and in one other EU language
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships as well as excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Good knowledge in communication tools (e.g. Twitter, RSS feeds, google tools), and Microsoft office
