Your Role

Design and implementation of policies, procedures and controls

  • Defining, implementing and testing processes to optimise operational efficiency between departments (following Trade Lifecycle)
  • Defining, implementing and testing company policies in order to provide greater risk oversight and awareness to risk holders and management
  • Control and monitoring of policy and procedures
  • Continual policy and process evaluation and optimisation
  • Providing key coordination between functions and management in the delivery of fit for purpose processes, controls and risk reporting

Operational day-to-day Risk Control tasks

  • Supporting controlled growth through the facilitation of the risk assessment and functional assurance for new types of deal (or deals with material risk) by aggregating and processing the evaluation of the various functions
  • Providing independent proactive risk advice through formal and/or ad-hoc discussions
  • Supporting Middle Office and Accounting for data issues in the trading system and SAP
  • Supporting Front Office and Operations related to process and data capture in the system
  • Ensuring the policies and procedures in place for data integrity within the system are adhered to

Internal audit/incident report

  • Investigating breaches of policy procedures
  • Ensuring an effective internal follow-up on reported issues and facilitate establishment of proactive solutions
  • Producing and communicating incident reports to senior management

Implementation of new IT tools

  • Testing, implementation and training of new IT tools
  • Control and monitoring of proper use of IT tools

Requirements

  • You have good IT skills and sound understanding of the trading industry
  • You have previous experience in trading or audit

  • Fluent in English
  • Background in audit (Big 4) or similar role for a couple years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and solution oriented
  • Very rigorous
  • Sound understanding of the trading industry and trading systems
  • Excellent IT skills (SQL big plus)
