Intern Continuous Improvement - Value Chain Design (60-100%)

We are looking for someone who can join us for min. 6 months up to 1 year.

Tasks:

Main tasks: Global Value Stream Design

  • Evaluation of an optimized transportation and warehousing system of the global value chain for the product group “high speed turbo chargers”
  • Visualization of findings and relevant value chain scenarios (value stream mapping, graphs, overviews)
  • General support within the value stream design project

Additional tasks: Support the Continuous Improvement & Quality Team

  • Optimization of assembly and planning processes
  • Evaluation of quality issues by using the lean/six-sigma methodology and supporting green-belt projects
  • Perform various activities associated with continuous improvement and quality management in pursuit of operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Candidates will currently be in the midst of completing their Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics or Technical Engineering - or may have recently graduated
  • Previous internships or other work experience highly valued
  • Previous experienece or acquired know-how in visio, value stream mapping, or supply chain of advantage
  • Excellent user knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • A self-starter by nature with a strong doer mentality
  • A strong team player and quick learner
  • Strong command of English (fluent written & spoken), German desired
