Your role

Are you eager to work in a dynamic environment? Are you interested in the bigger picture and the questions that drive the firm at large? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Provide support to Chief of Staff in collecting critical documents, presentations and other communications, ensuring appropriate messaging
  • Liaise with all areas in the Asset Management division as well as all other divisions, regions and functions to coordinate and ensure delivery of required information / projects on an accurate and timely basis
  • Maintain oversight over the key senior management meetings
  • Review Asset Management Executive Committee materials prior to distribution for accuracy and adherence to quality and document retention standards
  • Track completion of outstanding action items and ensuring proper filing
  • Closely work with relevant governance bodies to ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, proper approval flow and consistent deployment of the provisions stipulated in the firm’s constitutional documents (Organization and Business Regulations, Delegation of Authorities and the like)
  • Further duties may include working on/leading assigned projects and processes and various general business management tasks.

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Management Office of the President of UBS Asset Management & UBS EMEA in Zürich. We are a small team led by the Chief of Staff of UBS AM & UBS EMEA. The team is composed of four business managers as well as two executive assistants and covers the entire spectrum of tasks that arise through the numerous responsibilities of the President. As our team deals with a diverse range of issues and as it processes substantial amounts of complex information, we are looking for someone able to work under pressure and excel in this challenging environment.

Your expertise

You need to have completed your master’s degree, preferably in economics, finance or business administration.
In particular, you have:

  • an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
  • know-how gained from internships in banking industry, consulting company or similar
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • good judgment when dealing with sensitive information
  • fluency in English and German, any additional language is a plus
