Your role

Are you creative and highly organized? Are you a great writer? Can you turn complicated topics into interesting stories? We are looking for a strong team player to support our communications team.

  • Develop content for news articles, intranet pages, videos and other communication materials for employees across Global Wealth Management, including editing and writing (in English)
  • Support the organization and logistics of townhall meetings, executive chats and other employee events, campaigns, etc.
  • Help to manage, coordinate and execute on divisional/global initiatives and divisional and Group-wide communication activities (internal and external)
  • Handle a small portfolio of projects including proactively positioning and managing certain topics, building storybooks and searching for stories within the bank
  • Help to handle media queries and align with internal stakeholders, prepare briefings for executives
  • Provide guidance to our stakeholders about UBS’s corporate design, language and tone of voice guidelines.

Your team

The Corporate Communications team for Wealth Management and EMEA is part of Group Communications & Branding. We are responsible for communicating with both external (e.g. media) and internal (employees) stakeholders globally about a wide range of strategic and tactical topics. Our role covers a broad range of activities, from high-level planning through to the creation and delivery of content and communications materials in a variety of formats, as well as advising senior management in all communications matters.

You will work directly with internal and external senior communications professionals. Given the broad scope of our activities, you will also work closely with colleagues in other parts of UBS including marketing, legal and business teams.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months (ideally journalism, communication, history or any other humanities/ arts discipline.

In particular, you have:

  • Strong interest in corporate communications and all aspects of internal communications and media relations
  • An expert writer with an eye for detail (spotting typos is your second nature) and ability to identify what makes content readable and engaging for different audiences
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Power Point and Excel
  • Team player, able to work flexibly and collaboratively on a wide range of tasks
  • Well organized with an autonomous and structured way of working
  • Open and flexible personality, able to work in a global environment
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information
