Internship in Coagulation and Hematology
Coagulation and Hematology are one of 8 disease areas located within Clinical Science that make up part of Medical and Scientific Affairs a Global medical function within Roche Centralized and Point of care solutions. Clinical Science explores unmet medical needs and designs clinical development strategies and studies for diagnostic solutions and personalised healthcare to improve patients’ outcome and provide competitive differentiation.
Within Coagulation and Hematology, we are landscaping the Hematological disease burden to describe what disease indication areas have the greatest unmet medical need and biomarker potential to improve patient care pathways and outcome. The long term vision is to provide a 10 -year plan that highlights medical indication areas that require investigation.
Your main tasks would include:
- Supporting the clinical science team in landscaping the disease area of cancer acquired thrombosis
- Supporting the clinical science team in landscaping other coagulation and hematological disease areas
- Supporting clinical development projects such as clinical studies within this disease area
- Performing literature searches, interpreting and analyzing publications, summarizing findings in reports
- Working on a wide range of assigned medical writing work with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
- Participating in department meetings on development projects, this may include off-site meetings and require traveling
Ideally, you fulfill the following criteria:
- You are a recent Postdoc (within the last 12 months) in the field of Natural Sciences
- OR You recently graduated with a Masters (within the last 12 months) in the field of Natural Sciences
- You are highly motivated to work in a team
- You have a great interest in expanding your scientific knowledge
- You are self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and a curious mindset
- You have a basic knowledge in Clinical Studies
- You have good communication skills in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
