Your role

Are you passionate about the financial markets? Are you an innovator who loves to solve problems? We’re looking for someone like that to:

• manage product issuance process: Setting up structured products for Wealth Management on platforms (Quotes and Syros etc.)
• understand how structured products are priced with the tools we are using (SP Investor and Pricing Tools, 3rd party pricing tools) and be able price indications and execute trades for our clients
• support the team in creating relevant product documentations (product description etc.)
• interact with our Co-Structures (3rd Party Issuers - Open Architecture)
• book new products issued by Investment Products & Services. You as an intern will be responsible for all the bookings and settlement of our products.
• work closely with other departments (Structuring, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Wealth Management et al.)

Your team

You’ll be working on the Trading Floor in Opfikon joining a team responsible for the Equity Structured Product Offering within UBS Wealth Management. In close interaction with our Sales Team, UBS Investment Bank as well as external Investment Banks we offer equity & commodity structured tailor-made solutions to our Wealth Management clients.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• at least four successfully achieved semesters studied at a University or a University of applied sciences in Business Administration, Economics, Finance
• excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• a good command of MS Office, especially in Excel and Word
• flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
• an interest for Structured Products

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

Start date: Beginning / Mid June 2019
Duration: 5-6 months with the possibility to extend
