Your role

Are you confident to work in fast moving environment? Do you know how to provide support so that things run smoothly?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

• Client projects: Support the Client Advisors in the preparation of client pitch documentation for our most sophisticated clients in the markets Germany, Austria and Italy.
• Project management: Support in the conceptual development and execution of projects and strategic initiatives, preparation of reporting to senior management, support in follow-up actions and tracking.
• Business management: Support ad-hoc requests from UHNW Germany, Austria and Italy senior management, front staff and functional partners
• Financial analysis of revenues and sales results, client data, incl. collaboration with Finance
• Ad hoc support of project work, and project office incl. follow ups and tracking

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Business Management team in Zurich. We are a highly motivated, small but agile team who works directly with the Market head to support in managing the different desks, as well as direct contact for the Desk heads and teams on operational tasks.

You will be directly involved in day-to-day activities, working with gifted professionals and gaining first-hand experience of how the UHNW Germany, Austria and Italy business works.

This position offers a unique opportunity to get insights into the core client segment of UBS, and to interact with key stakeholders from Client Advisors, Product Specialists, Finance and Marketing.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

• a good command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• Pro-active and focused team player capabilities to work in a dynamic environment
• ability to work independently, and to assume responsibility, hands-on mentality
• analytical, conceptual and organizational skills
• fluency in German and English, Italian is beneficial

Your Program

As a Graduate Trainee (GTP) at UBS you benefit from a framework of training and development opportunities to
ease your start at UBS and into the professional life.

The Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) GTP program lasts 18 months. You will be directly involved in day-to-day
operations, working in an international and sophisticated environment with professionals and gaining first-hand
experience on our UHNW business. Rotational assignments within the Chief Investment Office (CIO) as well as within the Investment Platforms and Solutions (IPS) area, are a key part of the program to best prepare you for a potential future career as a client advisor.

To deepen your knowledge of the UHNW specific value proposition, the client coverage model and the product
offering, you will attend educational sessions at the UHNW Academy (depending on availability) and will regularly join UHNW specific meetings.

Off-the-job opportunities for exposure, experience and education complement the program. All UHNW GTPs are
required to pass all three written exams of the Wealth Management Certification.
