Your role

Are you confident to work in a fast moving environment? Are you willing to become part of a team and contribute to success?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

• Assist Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, Sales staff, as well as assistants in their daily client business
• Conduct data analysis to support business management or sales initiatives
• Support on risk related tasks
• Work on developing tailor-made solutions for our clients (e.g. creation of investment proposals)
• Prepare client meetings and business trips

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You will be working in the Latin America Market team based in Zurich.

We are a culturally diverse team with extensive professional backgrounds in different areas.

We provide holistic and highly customized investment advice and financial solutions to wealthy individuals domiciled in Latin America. We are a strong partner for our clients for every stage of their journey.

You will gain insights into the day-to-day business of the LatAm market and into the market’s strategic priorities by working closely with our Client Advisors, Desk Heads and other market-specific Business Partners.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

• good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
• a proven record of working well with others in a diverse setting
• basic knowledge of the financial market and corresponding products
• know-how gained from experience (or internship) in the banking industry or similar
• fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese (written and oral), any further language is an asset
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

Your Program

As a Graduate Trainee (GTP) at UBS you benefit from a framework of training and development opportunities to
ease your start at UBS and into the professional life.

The LatAm GTP program lasts 18 months. You will be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working in an international and sophisticated environment with professionals and gaining first-hand experience on our LatAm business. A rotational assignment within the Investment Platforms and Solutions (IPS) area are a key part of the program to best prepare you for a potential future career as a client advisor. Further rotations in departments of interest can be discussed and arranged for with your mentor.

Off-the-job opportunities for exposure, experience and education complement the program. All LatAm GTPs are
required to pass all three written exams of the Wealth Management Certification.
