Your role

Are you a detail-oriented multitasker and good communicator? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Support the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) Chief of Staff team with the management of the GCOO area. The GCOO area includes our group-wide Technology, Operations, Human Resources and Corporate Services functions
  • Prepare key internal meetings with Senior Management or external meetings, e.g. with suppliers
  • Manage committee preparation (incl. preparation of briefings) and follow-ups
  • Coordinate activities with the other divisions’ Chief of Staff teams
  • Support in driving the internal communication agenda for GCOO
  • Support the team on ad-hoc tasks and projects

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the GCOO Chief of Staff team in Zurich. We are responsible for the daily business of the Group COO, staying at least one step ahead at all times. We ensure excellent quality of GCOO deliverables, e.g. meeting materials, briefings, speeches, and presentations. Furthermore we are responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of GCOO senior management committee meetings, board meetings, onsites etc.. We also take care of GCOO-wide communications and events, in collaboration with our Communications and Branding business partners.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a structured work style, with an innate sense of how to prioritize multiple tasks under time pressure and a strong attention to detail
  • the desire to work in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • an excellent command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • fluency in English and ideally also in German (written and spoken)
