Praktikum- / Semester- / Diploma- Student for Maintenance Enhancement Project
Are you keen to learn about all the latest trends in the field of maintenance - from green-to-green and first time right to 80:20 SDT:UDT, and predictive maintenance? Do you want to support one of the biggest volume high power semiconductor factories in Switzerland in its efforts to take maintenance to the next level? Would you like to familiarize yourself with state-of-the-art production tools and help to make them even more reliable? Do you relish the prospect of working in a cleanroom environment with only 10 particles per 1 m3?
We are offering you to join our Maintenance Improvement Project and assume responsibility for the area of maintenance statistics and organization. You will follow scheduled and unscheduled maintenance interventions relating to various types of semiconductor manufacturing tools, analyze maintenance performance, and put forward suggestions for improvement.
Your responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data for maintenance interventions, including aspects such as duration, manpower, and success rate
- Work in close collaboration with maintenance teams, maintenance professionals, process engineers, and operators
- Follow up maintenance-related topics, such as maintenance preparation, spare parts, check lists, interfaces, and manuals
- Submit suggestions for improvement to maintenance activities
Your background
- University, University of Applied Sciences, or ETH student (Natural Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Business Studies with a focus on Manufacturing, or similar)
- Keen interest in all aspects of maintenance: tools, spare parts, warehouse, people interaction, automatic reporting, process, volume production, end products
- Attention to detail and highly conscientious approach to data acquisition
- Ideally, assignment covering 6 to 12 months (full time)
- Strong command of German and English, both spoken and written
