Your role

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Chief Investment Office (CIO) team in Zürich. In this role, your time will be split between three roles. The first is to support the program manager of the UBS Investor Forum, which consists of organizing the meetings and promoting the content. The second is to support CIO’s digital marketing manager, which consists of writing, creating and distributing content on social media, and other digital channels such as search, and supporting the overall digital marketing priorities for 2020. Finally, you will be assigned different tasks related to data analysis with the aim to increase the impact of CIO publications.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have/are:

  • broad experience in marketing, digital marketing or similar (preferred).
  • a good command of Microsoft Word and Excel including data analytics tools (Powerquery and Power BI)
  • a keen interest of finance and/or economics.
  • initiative, a proactive attitude and attention to detail
  • confident and comfortable meeting and developing a strong network within the financial sector
  • fluent in English (required)
