Head of Cyber & Technology Risk 80-100%

As Head of Cyber & Technology Risk you will support our Digital & Resilience Risk team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality risk assessments and reports with senior management visibility, contributing to providing guidance managing cyber and technology related risks, and supporting Group Risk Management in further strengthening its practices and capabilities.

Your Role

As the Head of Cyber & Technology Risk you will

• Facilitate risk assessments and deep dive reviews, which includes preparing high-quality and insightful risk assessment scenarios
• Compile high-quality risk reports for decision taking by management, which includes performing research on industry good practices and emerging risks in the space of cyber and technology
• Act as trusted business partner with IT Services, providing independent challenge and risk insights in support of achieving business objectives
• Support business partners in implementing lean and effective risk and control frameworks
• Develop tangible risk management thought leadership and guidance to enable local risk functions of business units to effectively and efficiently assess and address risks related to cyber and technology risk
• Actively participate in relevant initiatives to help Zurich advance in its risk management practices
• Lead and further develop the Cyber & Technology Risk team

Your Skills and Experience

As the Head of Cyber & Technology Risk your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or similar field
• 5 to 8 years of experience in the field of cyber security engineering, consulting or management
• Maintaining related professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, ITIL, PMP) would be preferable
• Profound subject matter expertise in technology and technical and organizational information security including application security, infrastructure security, network security, identity and access management, information security management systems and data protection/privacy
• Deep working knowledge on industry good practice in the area of information security and IT service management (e.g. ISO 2700x series, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, OWASP)
• Strong understanding of operational risk management practices and frameworks
• Strong project and program management skills with an emphasis on risk management aspects
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with a track record of developing lean and yet effective cyber and technology risk frameworks
• Experienced in leading teams with an emphasis on empowerment
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
