For our R&D and Product Management team in Baden, we are looking for an intern supporting our team for the development of simulation tools in Excel &/o Matlab-Simulink. The simulation objective is the study of the Battery Energy Storage Systems in frequency regulation applications in different countries delivering various services as fast frequency regulation, frequency containment reserve or inertial response.

Did you complete your bachelor’s degree or are you a master student? Are you self-driven and eager to gain experience and be part of a dynamic and international team of technical experts? We then have the right opportunity for you!

Your responsibilities

  • Understand and document the frequency regulation markets in Europe
  • Expand the current tool’s including new functionalities and create a frequency data base per country / region
  • Prepare and conduct knowhow workshops with other R&D units to gather relevant and precise technical information
  • Support planning, implementation and drive the roll out of future tool versions

Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master Student in Electrical-Power System Engineering (ETH, FH)
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, professionalism, and desire to collaborate with others in an intercultural environment
  • Capability to work independently
  • Used to work with MS Office (Excel), Matlab Simulink, SharePoint is an advantage
  • English fluent
