Your role

Are you passionate about finance, investing & analyzing data? Do you have an innovative, inquisitive mind and don’t shy away from challenging the status quo? Do you want to be part of an international team & a key analytics function within our core Investments business area?

We are looking for someone like that to:

  • work in a small team and interact with colleagues in our investment areas, client coverage & global products functions
  • provide analysis on the investment performance & risk taking across our traditional & alternative offering
  • improve an existing framework to assess our competitors’ products, the resilience of our entire shelf & potential commercial risks of our offering
  • analyze large data sets using innovative statistical techniques & scientific programming languages
  • understand our applied models within our team & support their further development
  • continue with us to work on automating our processes & analytics
  • publish the results of our analysis, provide reports & easy data access

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Investment Performance Analytics team in Zurich. The team is part of our Investments function & a team with diverse backgrounds. We are responsible for the in depth assessment of our investment performance & risk taking across our full range of traditional & alternative products. We are looking to hire a team member to strengthen our Analytics team in Zurich, maintain the current infrastructure & drive future, innovative projects & support the visualization of our output. In our function we support the firm’s product strategy & innovation decisions, investment areas in understanding their competitive environment & our senior management in reviewing our entire product shelf.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • an university degree (minimum Master’s) in Finance or in a quantitative discipline
  • strong programming skills (Python, Matlab, R or a similar languages)
  • an ability to manage high volumes of information, analytical acumen & a passion for financial markets
  • an ability to work within a large, complex, matrixed organization (you know the value of sharing information)
  • great communication skills, and you are able to actively collaborate within a highly skilled team & internal stakeholders
  • the initiative with innovative solution-oriented thinking that makes an impact and you are keen to numerical analysis, statistics, financial mathematics & common sense to solve practical problems
  • fluent in English; other languages beneficial
