Your role

Are you interested in understanding in depth, the strengths and weaknesses in the global product offering of a leading asset manager? Are you solid as a rock, when juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities and thrive, when facing new challenges? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • support consolidating market and competitive intelligence data and qualitative information to form the basis for the product strategy formulation and periodic update
  • maintain and enhance the central innovation pipeline of the team, keeping track of innovations from idea generation to launch projects
  • support the team in running innovation initiatives
  • prepare and review contributions to the Product Strategy Board and support keeping track of action items

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Strategic Shelf Evolution team in the Product Strategy & Shelf Evolution area, part of the Products function of UBS Asset Management. We are a team based in Zurich and London that monitors and reviews the shelf evolution against target state and identifies enhancements to it; runs innovation initiatives (e.g. innovation workshops, identification of opportunities, sounding and managing initiatives) and drives the Product Strategy Board’s agenda.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
  • excellent German and English (written and oral)
