Tasks
- Help us to shape the future of energy trading using the latest technologies and approaches such as cloud computing, machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve today’s business challenges
- Learn more about the daily business of Trading & Sales Business Technology rotating in different departments in Switzerland or in our International offices
- Gain hands on experience of a front to back technology function by rotating across our technology functions and working on different operational and strategic tasks in your assignments
- Lead or participate in various business technology projects with Front Office Trading, Risk and Customer Facing initiatives
- Be part of our Digital Transformation journey and contribute to our Minimum Viable Product Investment Programme
Profile
- Master university degree in Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Physics or Mathematics ETH/FH
- Good Coding experience in at least one language (Python, C#, SQL or R)
- Knowledge in machine learning and Azure in a devops structure is an advantage
- First work experience as an intern or student employee
- Enterpreneurial innovative mindset
- Rational thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to take on responsibility and initiative
- Fluency in English and German is a plus

The traineeship starts on 1st of October 2020 and is limited to 18 months with the option of a permanent position.
