Associate Package Development Engineer based in Zuchwil

(Fixed / 12 months)

Overview

This entry level role will be essential as an interface between the Package Development Team in Zuchwil, Logistics and other external stakeholders. He / She will lead the Package Design/Development part of an internal cost improvement project and will be therefore a major contributor to the successful implementation of the project.

Further responsibilities and duties are

  • Leads all Package Development/Design activities for a successful launch of the project in the Logistic field and ensures that a robust process is established.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert for all Package Development/Design related questions and activities within the project.
  • Applies relevant laws, standards, internal and external policies on the job.
  • Designs and Develops Package Solutions in full compliance with global standards and internal processes.
  • Provides troubleshooting in the resolution of problems related to packaging throughout the entire Supply Chain.
  • Builds technical competencies in packaging materials and technologies used in all manufacturing processes.
  • Assures the delivery of robust, cost effective, fully compliant packaging solutions that meet current and evolving customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree or similar technical degree.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Creative Team player.
  • Project Management skills.
  • “Hands-On” Approach.
  • Individual that works independently with problem-solving skills.
  • Language requirements: English + German.
  • Driver License: B.
