The Global Product Management oversees and shapes a Gas Insulated Switchgear Portfolio, engineered and manufactured in different Hitachi ABB Power Grids production units all around the world with several interfaces for instance R&D, SCM, Sales, Production, and Product Care, providing a comprehensive picture across the entire value chain. The department offers a variety, exciting work with open and fruitful discussions in an international positioned team. You will define and develop the documents needed to build and support the overall product management cycle. Therefore we are looking for a highly motivated Product Management Intern who will support the PM in Zurich, Oerlikon with documenting the processes as well as the development of Product Performance Indicators (PPI). Duration: 6-12 months
Your responsibilities
- Review and evaluation of existing documents
- Mapping of the new product management cycle
- Preparation of product, cost and portfolio analysis
- Development and definition of all documents required (content, reference and timing)
- Define new set of Product Performance Indicators (PPI) with regard to Technical performance, Market performance, Costing / pricing, Overall contribution
Your background
- Studies with either an engineering background or an economic background
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills are crucial
- Programming basics (Java, Matlab, PowerBI) are a plus
- English proficiency
