Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate, 80%-100%, maternity cover contract

Your Role

As an Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate you will:

• Generate insights and recommendations by addressing specific technical queries from clients and delivering appropriate solutions
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly closing to your internal client
• Provide investment insights out of our reporting tool
• Resolve specific problems within the team ensuring an efficient and high-quality service
• Liaise within the team and department as well as with internal and external audit
• Implement local or Group changes related to chart of account, valuation principles and reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with local and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other external or internal policies or guidelines, e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
• Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
• Work location is Zürich and start date should be as soon as possible

Required Skills and Experience

As an Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate your skills and qualifications will include:

• Experience in accounting Business Administration, Finance and at least 1-2 years experience in a related field
• Basic knowledge in investment products
• Experience with SAP and BW system is a plus
• English essential and German advantageous
