Strategic pursuit and opportunity management

• Realises small projects / sub-projects throughout the pursuit process, e.g., development of research packs, stakeholder profiles, credentials, market share data, competitor analysis, etc., during pre-RFP and proposal development stages
• Help facilitate in pursuit strategy sessions, managing output and driving actions
• Source information from relevant internal sources and teams etc.
• Drafting of standard sections of the proposal/RFP response using standard templates and best practice proposal materials

Strategic client, internal and external communications

• Assist in development of strategic messaging and lead conceptualization of all client-facing pursuit collateral
• Help manage the development of opportunity value propositions
• Responsible for quality control of all client-facing materials during the pursuit
• Act as the knowledge steward for the pursuit

Administration and reporting

• Co-lead post pursuit analysis and review; makes recommendations for process improvement
• Maintain relationships with other Markets Activation teams and key interdependency groups across the organization
• Assist with reporting and quality control procedures for client-facing collateral
• Coordinate support services, as required

Analytical/decision making responsibilities

• Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to Pursuits Enablement leadership as and when required.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines which are essential for a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate best work practices within department and among other teams
• Exhibit innovative thinking and flexible approach while managing out-of-scope requests
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills including telephone, skype and e-mail support
• Solution-oriented and makes sound decisions quickly, given tight timeframes
• Demonstrate versatility in a constantly evolving environment with a wide variety of social styles

What you can contribute - skills for shaping the future

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in a related field such as Sales & Marketing or Business Administration.
• Bilngual in German and English, French is a plus
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Skills in MS Office tools, Mural, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and any other digital collaboration solutions are an asset
• Depending on regional geography, some travel is required as well as attending leadership meetings/training.
• From time to time, internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours.
• Experience in developing external marketing communications (advantageous)
• Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment (advantageous)
