What you do:

• Lead the Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) system engineering team activities (requirements elicitation, traceability, testing), including product architecture design, and flight physics modeling
• Coordinate product implementation activities with the software and hardware team leaders
• Support product management activities, defining technical requirements, functional requirements implementation and obsolescence resolution strategies
• Report activities and progress to the GBTS department director
• Chair regular team meetings to control team progress

What you bring:

• University master degree in aerospace engineering with knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics to allow profitable decision making
• At least 10 years of experience in flight simulators design and pilot training topics
• Sound understanding of complex hardware/software/man-in-the-loop system architecture design
• Proven knowledge of ground training systems requirements management and system engineering practices (ISO 15288)
• Proven leadership skills in engineering team management
• English language skills at C1 level. German language at least at B1
