We are looking for a Project Planning & Controls Specialist at Hitachi ABB Power Grids, High Voltage Products business, function Operations. Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency. PGHV Operations consists of 15 factories located all over Europe with big variations in volumes and scope of deliveries. Changes are now coming at an increasing pace and in this role you will be a key part in developing our business.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate and act as the PGHV representative in a pilot project for AI/Machine learning solution for secondary engineering.
  • Collaborate with all units/factories in order to describe the end-to-end processes and conduct value stream mapping activities to find improvement areas.
  • Act as our HUBs speaking partner and super user for digital aids like Power Bi, etc.

Your background

  • You hold a university degree preferably in technical background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required and either German, Italian or Swedish is an advantage.
  • Programming skills and basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • As a person, you are self-going and driven. Social skills are important since a lot of the tasks will be carried out cross borders and through Teams.
  • You are ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment.
