Your role
Would you like to learn about Portfolio Management for sophisticated GFO (Global Family Office) clients? Are you interested in capital markets and investments? We’re looking for someone like that to:
- review client portfolios and suggest investment ideas
- put together investment ideas on client’s request (bond / equity / structured products / FX)
- generate own investment ideas aligned with CIO view based on RBA (Research Based Advise)
- prepare investment proposals from scratch for client pitches and recurring reviews
- evaluate and implement option strategies (e.g. portfolio hedge or leverage) and customized structured products
- use dedicated tools like Advice Studio, ATK and APA Pro as well as Bloomberg
- monitor of corporate action as well as monitoring and handling trade executions
Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Global Family Office Active Advisory team in Zurich. We cover private clients and family offices who tend to have complex, cross-divisional needs. The team consists of highly professional and experienced advisory and sales specialists.
We provide proactive investment advice based on the UBS investment policy, and support clients in the implementation of appropriate investment products and strategies.
Your expertise
You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.
In particular, you have:
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- a strong interest in economics and financial markets (cross-asset class knowledge a plus)
- sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
- excellent German and English (written and oral)
