Who we are
Global Procurement (GP) partners with the business to provide strategic insight that helps guide buying decisions. Through understanding stakeholder needs, we deliver innovative solutions that maximize the value of third-party spend. Our organization is uniquely positioned within Roche as we have both extensive knowledge of the supplier market place in tandem with supporting long term, end-to-end business strategy needs.
Within the GP organization, the CAPEX & Engineering team delivers value and offers expertise for capital investments and Engineering related projects covering construction, automation, equipment and asset management for the entire Roche network.
Who you are
You are an ambitious student who is currently enrolled at an University.
During the course of the Student Support, you will work closely with different stakeholders, work on various tasks and initiatives and be able to put your theoretical skills into practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining key reporting files
- Conduct spend analysis, clean up and validation to assist projects
- Collaborate with a global procurement and business team on joint initiatives
- Assist with developing and executing global procurement strategies
- Prepare operational and sourcing reports to measure actual spend against expectations
Moreover, you are
- Student of minimum 4th Bachelor semester or current Master student, preferably with a major in business administration, supply chain, Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably, work experience in Procurement and/or life sciences industry
- Excellent numerical data analysis skills; Microsoft Excel skills at an advance level are essential for this role
- Excellent spoken and written command of English
- You are able to see things from the perspective of others and identify what motivates them, in order to reach win-win solutions for all target groups
- Independent and proactive working style
- Quick grasp and understanding of complex issues, conceptual and creative thinking
