Your role
Are you passionate about data, programming and automatization? Would you like to build new tools, interpret our sales results and improve the efficiency and transparency throughout the organization? Do you want to work in a fast-moving team and gain exposure to Sales teams all over the world?
We are currently looking for a new team member who can:
- Design, build and maintain analytical solutions for Sales and related functions
- Interpret, integrate and visualize significant amount of information from various internal data sources
- Increase the transparency by onboarding vast amount of data waiting to be tackled (sales efforts, marketing campaigns)
Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team
Your home base will be the Zurich-based Client Analytics team within the Sales Management function of UBS AM. We are the knowledge center for sales, finance and product data and we provide actionable insights to our sales teams (covering Wholesale, Institutional and Wealth Management channels). Our main goal is to drive the business by empowering sales and product teams with innovative solutions and automatization, improving on the current set of tools. We replace Excel with R and web-based applications (R Shiny), PowerPoint with PowerBI, CSV files with relational databases. We collaborate with multiple other teams, including shelf offering, investment specialists, marketing and client service. You will leverage your know-how in future rotations with the other teams in UBS Asset Management.
Your expertise
You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.
In particular, you have:
- A strong academic background supported by exceptional results
- Existing R or Python skills are a key requirement, ideally supported by evidence (thesis, university project…)
- Existing knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau, Shiny, SQL, LaTeX, Git beneficial, but not essential
- Fast learner, willingness to challenge the status quo and provide feedback
- Interest in asset management and finance industry
- Strong communication skills, past extracurricular activities
- Fluent in English
