The purpose of this role - Internship: Data Analyst (SharePoint and Web application developer) - is to strengthen the Procurement Excellence team to structure and update the global Procurement Sharepoint platform and support the team in developing/updating web applications and dashboards as well as other reporting activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Procurement Sharepoint: Structure and update the current procurement sharepoint (review the current sharepoint structure, assess with the users the current content, define the to-be structure and content, as well as the future user population).
• General Support: Supporting the day-to-day data activities of the team (User accesses, dashboard and web-application support…).
• Reporting tools and systems, Dashboard development: Extract and consolidate data from SAP, SAP-Business warehouse, SQL, DataFlow… Develop and update Power BI dashboards. Perform data maintenance/improvement/refresh.
• Advanced/innovative tools and systems: Development/update of Web applications (Python-Django framework). Development/update of algorithms for data process automation and spend relative reports (Data science tools as Python - Pandas-Numpy libraries - Jupyter Notebook…). Implement MySQL database

Key requirements:

You are carrying out a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in data analysis/data science/data engineering or a related field, or you have already completed your studies. You are professional, creative, open to new challenges, willing to work under pressure, and flexible. Knowledge experience in Python programming language (Jupyter notebook, Django web-application, Pandas, Numpy libraries..) and SQL are required. Knowledge Experience with Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, PowerPoint or other systems is also required. Ideally you have some initial work or internship experience and are already able to work in Switzerland (mandatory for being located in Basel) . Fluent or near-fluent English is required. The ideal duration of the traineeship is 6 months.
