What you do

  • Production support tasks such as preparation and approval of dispositions for concessions and definition of acceptance test procedures for structural components
  • Development tasks such as preliminary structural analysis, drawing approval or preparation of technical requirement documents for structural components
  • Certification tasks such as preparation and checking of certification reports such as for loads, structural analysis, structural testing, and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis (crack initiation and crack growth)
  • Project management including project definitions and progress reporting

What you bring

  • MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering with focus on aircraft structures
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as aerospace structural engineer (primary & secondary structures)
  • Sound knowledge in classical stress analysis and FE structural analysis (NASTRAN, Femap)
  • Experience with aircraft loads, fatigue and damage tolerance
  • Sound German and English, verbal and written level appropriate communication skills
  • Flexible, innovative and able to work on tight deadlines and in multicultural teams
